Chandra DEV Joshi

Indore, Madhya Pradesh



Chandra Dev Joshi's dedication to helping others has driven his success as a VLE. Recognizing the need for government services in his remote village, Yogendra established a CSP centre in August 2016. His CSP has significantly increased local economic participation, benefiting over 300 MGNREGA workers, farmers, and disabled individuals monthly. He is grateful to CSP GOV for the respect that he has earned by providing services through his centre. Despite initial struggles, Yogendra's dedication and modesty have earned him the villagers' trust and respect.


Monirujjaman Khan

Bagnan 1, Howrah, West Bengal



Monirujjaman Khan, from a remote area in West Bengal, has showcased entrepreneurial spirit since joining CSP in 2013 post his graduation. Operating CSP was a big challenge due to the inhospitable terrain and connectivity issues. He went out of his way to ensure his centre received a good internet connection for its smooth operation. Not only that, he worked hard day in and day out and kept expanding his services. Today, he provides banking, BBPS, PAN, and UCL services to the people of Bagnan.



Bhagwat Prasad Kushwaha

Sirathu, Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh



After post-graduation, Bhagwat Prasad Kushwaha chose CSP to empower his community in 2016. Despite initial scepticism and connectivity issues, he persevered. In the last financial year, Bhagwat Prasad has been one of the top-performing VLEs in the state. His centre now offers a comprehensive range of CSP services, including income and caste certificates, Aadhaar Cards, Ayushman Cards, banking, pensions, PM Vishwakarma, insurance, Grameen e-Store, gas bookings, and electricity bill payments. So far, he has provided Aadhaar and Ayushman card services to over 2,000 citizens.


Pravin Popat Aher

Chandvad, Nashik, Maharashtra



Praveen's journey with CSC began in 2011 after his 12th-grade exams. Despite financial challenges, he aimed to serve his community through CSP. “I wanted to earn my livelihood through a service that would also be of help to the people in my village. CSP was the best option for me. Being associated with CSP as a VLE is a proud moment for me.” says Praveen. He offers door-to-door services, including banking and utility bill payments. He has notably provided LPG gas services under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana to 50 BPL women, transforming lives in Chandvad.


Hari Shankar Kumar

Barelly, Uttar Pradesh



Hari Shankar Kumar's journey from completing his 12th standard to running a successful CSP since 2016 is remarkable. He says, "My customers have never complained about any service received from my centre as I am honest to my work ensuring customer satisfaction and trust. I try my best to resolve their problems due to which they have full faith in my services and recommend my CSP to other villagers. I want to take this precious work to greater heights so that the unemployed youth can also take inspiration.”


Suresh Dutt Gupta

Nautanwa, Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh



Suresh Dutt Gupta's CSC journey began in 2014, overcoming significant challenges like internet speed and lack of awareness. “I wanted to help the villagers while earning a sustainable income. CSC has allowed me to serve and earn simultaneously.” Through hard work, he has improved his economic condition and established a respected position in society. Suresh has facilitated benefits for over 200 farmers and issued Ayushman cards to more than 400 people, delivering doorstep services in Nautanwa.



Partha Sarathi Pal

Amta - I, Howrah, West Bengal



Due to its remote location, Amta block in Howrah district remains untouched by the recent developments in the country. “People here were sceptical to trust banking services and to keep their hard-earned money in banks. Above all, it was difficult to visit the bank, which is far away from the village, to access any service” Partha added. He has transformed this region by opening over 4000 bank accounts, 95% for women. His efforts have enabled daily wage labourers and farmers to access government subsidies, resolving significant issues in his community.


Thangaraj Rajendran

Vandavasi, Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu



Thangaraj Rajendran’s inspiring story shows that physical disability is not a barrier in achieving dreams. “Working as a VLE has made a significant difference to my life. It has provided me with a platform to earn enough to support my family whilst also gaining respect and recognition in society.” Last year, he facilitated over 12 lakh rupees in agricultural loans which has given relief to more than 100 farmers and he aims to improve the academic conditions of children, ensuring holistic community development.
